Soleica in Russia

Economic Mission Russia 2009

Antoine Monnier, Soleica’s Manager is proud to participate in the Economic Mission to Russia, guided by the Government of Quebec and lead by Prime Minister Jean Charest. The mission will bring the delegation from December 7 to 13, 2009 to Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.

Building on his extensive experience in Canada’s North in deploying Information Technology systems, Antoine Monnier will come to meet the representatives of Russian organisations working in remote regions far from urban centres and under similar climate conditions as in Nunavik.

Our manager is looking forward to exchange with representatives from the Republic of Buryatia [A], the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) [B] and the Chukotka Autonomous District [C] about how Soleica might contribute to the development of their IT systems.

Canada’s North demands communication under extreme conditions for the local population as well as in the context of the development of the natural resources (hydro-electricity, mining, oil production, etc.).

This is a big challenge for Russia and Soleica would like to contribute to this task.
